MOTIONS - WONDERFUL IMPRESSIONS
(G. Romeijn; S. Warner)
Havoc SH 137

See the child smile at the hedgehopper
Who is resting on the singing grass
As it runs to him, it falls as it tumbles
And we've got summer wind

He is drifting into somehow
Where is no noise that will be heard
And the child's mind too has moved on further
To some wonderful place

Wonderful impressions, how good it is to feel
Wonderful impressions
Feeling rich, further than the man
Even deeper than the inside of the brain
A glimpse of heaven

Wonderful impressions, how good it is to feel
Wonderful impressions
Feel the world to the bottom of your soul
Let them warm you when you're old and cold

The hairy brown dog of Mrs Freezer
Is too fat to walk around her house
Where the garden is filled with colours
Of flowers so sweet

Where the violet shade of the dewdrops
On the window frame is still the same
And the green leaves of the old oak tree
Dance to the wind

Wonderful impressions, how good it is to feel
Wonderful impressions
Feeling rich, further than the man
Even deeper than the inside of the brain
A glimpse of heaven

Wonderful impressions, how good it is to feel
Wonderful impressions
Feel the world to the bottom of your soul
Let them warm you when you're old and cold

Wonderful impressions, how good it is to feel
Wonderful impressions
Feeling rich, further than the man
Even deeper than the inside of the brain
A glimpse of heaven

Wonderful impressions, how good it is to feel
Wonderful impressions
Feeling rich, further than the man
Even deeper than the inside of the brain
A glimpse of heaven
